So....tis done .Finished all today with the colours and I'm massively happy.
This is basically me, at full tilt, no stopping. This is what would've happened last weekend had I had all day, I just wanted to redo it as I didn't feel deserving with the work I did last weekend, this however is in tribute to that which it achieved last weekend and is also dedicated to all the staff of SOS 12, all the wonderful and amazing people I got to meet. This is to say thank you guys for an amazing event, and an unforgettable experience.

Tails' design was more retro more than anything, taking inspiration from the OVA Tails' helmet he wears when flying to the land of darkness and also the belts on his wrists is synonymous with his original design back from the Sonic 2 days. 
This is more my take on them anyway

Its still awesome picture. But kinda laughing for some reason at the point on Very Scary Movie 4(parody comedy film) Part where Ipod shoots lazers at some black dudes(not racist) with too many chains lol! I mean even this picture says Swagging while flying :3

7 hours for the colour, 3 at work, and 4 at home. Inks were 3 on their own as I wanted to keep it as faithful as possible to the original but add stuff in to enhance it and to bring it up to the standard i'm happy with.

I tried to use white as little as possible, the only place i really put it, or left it was in tails' gloves, it's the same policy with black, it flattens the image immediately and i find lacks depth. So I tried to add colours appropriate for each section but also to try adding a variation from say his eye colour to his gloves so there ARE different shades.

thanks very much ^^ I was semi using the refs i did of them in my gallery, more for sonic than tails but i loved tails from the OVA with his helmet so i kept it in.

Yeah as picked up on the last one, there were some problems with the placing of the foot and also I could bring it up a notch to make it really stand out and look complete, so I spent the proper time i would have taken on any other piece to get it to the standard i'm happy with.

XDDDD Aaaaw thanks ^^ Well this was me at full tilt, unfortunately there was no stopping me once i got going. But it was a careful exercise with the colours and stuff because some colours just don't go onto the paper right without a base coat or another shade for it to sit on. But I'm happy ^^

See I'm in my mid 20's and i've been at this for god knows how long, but i've never given up, never let anyone tell me different and have always done what I feel is right, given it be wrong or right in the end. Work without fear, no matter what anyone says to you. You have a talent, thats something that not a lot of people have, you should work with it, and keep going, if you need any help, just ask ok? ^^

well that is a long time , I am not even 20 so yeah.. I am just some sonic fan and drawer. Not a great one and I draw many other things too, so .. I try to make my own style so then I want to know how I can combinate a fea artstyles I like and get some things of them in my own style , it's pretty hard to do that and even many people think I am just one of those drawers that makes the same sonic , manga , pokemon, chibi , keronian and fantasy things...
I don't know if I must go on.

see? I can show you work i did when i was younger. You gotta keep going, thing is with finding your own style, it will take a while, but there will be a way you work that is 100% unique to yourself, whether it be the way you draw eyes or lips or even a finger, it will be 100% unique. It is hard, but anything that was easily accomplished probably wasn't worth it in the first place. You have to work at it, there are days you'll feel it's pointless and you'll feel like you're the only one who believes in your art, but stick with it. I've gone through all of what i've said, but i never gave up, i keep working and striving and putting my blood sweat and tears in to my work. I leave nothing behind, there's not 1% thats left on the table. It's all about learning for me XD because I still am. I just push myself.

I was crying , really sad
And I am still having those problems and I have even more worse things! But I am trying to hold on , and push myself , but I got this a few years now and I can't take it anymore

school's hard, same with me, teachers told me to stop drawing cartoons but even when i tried it still looked like one. I had people tell me how they thought of my work but it's not stopped me, all i've done is turn their negativity into energy that is directly fed straight into my artwork. But you gotta stick with it, see..if i didn't have my art work, or my talent i'd be dead, it's one of the small few things that actually keeps me sane, if i didn't have it, I'd be gone. But I stuck by it, and it's stuck by me, but you have to work at it. I've had people in the past ask for a quick solution...know my reply? What? so i can dumb down over 20 years of hard work just so you can be fucking lazy? Hell no. and it's the same for you. I can see the potential in your work but you gotta stick by it no matter what ANYONE says because at the end of the day...it only matters what you think about YOUR work.

Drawing is my life , and I can't live without it.
I know I must keep holding on , however I know that there is nobody in this world who really will like it like I do( my art). Well I only have those people who like it because they don't have a tablet or don't know yet how to do that, but I am not a great artist for my age , I really have seen better.
Well , it's difficult if you have no one in your real life who support you..
But I got to stay , and work.

so? Thing about life is there will always be someone better, look at anyone like =Syaming-Li or say ~Swirlything or even ~darkspeeds . I look up to those guys everyday, I see their works everywhere and I do I wanna be better than them, but recently I got to meet all three at summer of sonic and they were all commenting on my work and stuff and it was fantastic to have that level of recognition from my heroes. But it's only because i've knuckled down and really put my all into what I create. So what if there's someone better, you keep going and don't stop, don't let anyone tell you different, if you let them persuade you to stop, then they have won, and you don't want that. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Have I ever said how much talent you have with markers because this is amazing. How many Letraset pro markers do you have? Would you also recommend Copic Markers?

hahaha....how many? erm...lemme count...*takes a while*....83...counting doubles and others too. Um...Copic's i've never used but my good friend Val who is over on is a fond user of them and well..her work speaks for itself. Check her out and ask her =3 I can tell you that letraset promarkers are very easy to use and since using them for the last two years, I'm finding i'm using them more and more.

£2.20 a pen from their website direct but they give discounts if you order a butt load XD. Check them out, I think copics are more expensive I do believe but the best person to ask is Val. She'll know.

The feel and movement of this picture is just stunning! You really feel like the biplane is really soaring in the air, ait what's blowing around and the tilt of the plane as well! <3
It's just...the detail in the plane and characters, the perspective, the sky and glare...it's just all really beautiful to me, ackkk

thanks ^^ It was directly copied from the previous piece that I did at Summer of Sonic 2012 but i just came away feeling like the piece deserved more, so i reinked it, and recoloured it and this is what I got XD. Just wanted to set things right in my mind ^^
