Not to be an asshole or anything, but is making something with a flash game then posting it on a website really art?

that's a good point
However,Making something using a designing flash game,in some parts, can be considered art because it's my own idea using a designing game.
So basically yes,it is art that I didn't make on my own,but if it wasn't art it wouldn't be on this art site.

Some (myself included) would consider recoloring to not be art either yet here we have it on this very site. [link]
A definition from Urban Dictionary describes art as~
1) A creative expression of thoughts, feelings and messages that the artist wants to convey.
2) Usually involves a certain amount of skill.
3) Usually provokes thought in audience.
4) Commonly refers to visual arts, such as paintings, sculptures, etc.
5) Most importantly, interpretation and judgment of art tends to be controversial.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-
1) I don't really see you trying to convey anything in these sonic pictures, just you clicking a few arrows and color choices.
2) Once again, arrows and color choices.
3) Not much available for thought, just a different colored sonic. A cute time killer for sure, but artistic? Not so much.
4) Certainly visual, but once again, not quite artistic.
5) I see no interpretation in what you post, let alone controversy.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This stuff belongs on a photobucket account, not an artistic website designed for serious pieces and discussion.

First of all,it is not a recolor. Here is Wikipedia.com's definition of an OC and recolor:
An original character, or OC, is a character created by a fanfic author or roleplayer for an established canon storyline. For instance, if someone were to write a story set in Tolkien's Middle-earth, but focused on a person who was not in the original novels, the new character would be an OC.
OC is used in some fandoms as Other Character, a person/being who has been introduced or mentioned in the series, but is not a major player in canon. Sometimes these characters have one or two speaking lines and occasionally interact with the major characters such as Blaise Zabini and Susan Bones in Harry Potter, or Jobal Naberrie from Star Wars. Other times, they're merely people mentioned in passing, like a relative or co-worker, someone we never see but who we know exists. It can also mean a family member we know exists, such as a grandparent, but who has no name.
Original characters are common in sprite comics, webcomics created using sprites, and are sometimes used in fan games. "Recolor" is the general term for a simply modified version of sprites and other images. Recolors are usually created using default bitmap programs such as Microsoft Paint when colors of a certain character's palette are replaced with different colors.
If by using a well designed flash game on Newgrounds is considered "Recoloring" Sonic (although Froze doesn't look remotely like Sonic to the very least),then I may be guilty. But this is how I,a person with non great drawing skills, would like to express my ideas in Sonic Fancharacter making.I am sorry if I offend you with this style of just sharing ideas, but I see many other people do this,so I feel I am safe to do this as well.
I am also creditful.I give credit to the person who made the flash game by including a link to the page, rather than passing it off as my own.
Ok sure,I may not be showing 3 out of 5 of those definitions, still,it is a form of expressing thought.
But still,I may take this argument to mind and draw my own pictures, but I must say in the progress I may embarrass myself. They look really bad.
I also apologize for the long reply.
