Whew! This took awhile to get finished entirely because of work matters. Still, I was able to finally buckle some time down to finish it!The concept is ocean ponies as they haven't really explored hippocampus or sea unicorn as a race in mlp. Sooo this is my interpretation of a princess version of the sea ponies where she is a hybrid of the different forms. I used a leafy sea dragon to reference her "wings" as I think they are very graceful animals.

Thanks, Jay! I really went painterly with the reef because it was so colorful and diverse I didn't want to detract from the main focus that has a little more crispness to it.

Well, dolphins are basically horses that said "screw it" and decided to live in the water again when most other mammals were adapting to life on land. Cool picture.
