Taken at a cat show today - this cat is actually a pedigree Maine Coon and half brother to our Kira (they share the same Maine Coon mother, and Kira has a Ragdoll for a father).I will be entering this image in Wazabee's "Yawning Cat Competition"

Thanks for commenting on the quality in particular. It's very very very frustrating and 'challenging' to take show photos in dark church- or community halls. I struggle to hand-hold as slow a shutter speed as I can possibly get away with and push the ISO and consequently have such shallow DoF that it's critical not to wobble.

i was at an indoor flower show and only one shot was decent

I should add that I try to avoid flash, particularly when it comes to live creatures. Flowers fall into that bracket too - flash blows out areas and seldom gives a pleasing effect.
