Info:Though he might look like a normal puffball (minus the eyes),Kaleo isn't really(and I'm not sure I can say "far from it", so...).

Instead, he's an experiment that was created on Shiver Star-experiment seventeen, the Eternal Youth project.

As the name implies, Kaleo is stuck as a child. However, the project was only partially successful, as Kaleo's mentality is constantly bouncing around between the ages, causing him to sometimes act more mature, less mature, more violent, etc. The suddenly shifts between how he behaves can be somewhat jarring as well.

Kaleo originally didn't have a name other than "Project Seventeen"-he was given his current name by a voice in his head that only he can hear...but he doesn't talk about it or what else it says much. Apparently, hanging around others helps drown it out.

Due how he spent the first couple years of his life, he can get quite paranoid of other people and their intents, though this only seems to extend to those that appear "higher-up" than him. If anything happens to make a person seem more vulnerable (ie.getting hurt, scared, etc.), he automatically loosens up a bit, and becomes a bit more accepting of the idea that they aren't going to hurt him-unless, of course, he's the one that caused it to happen.

Once someone does become his friend, however, Kaleo can get very...cuddly.

He enjoys actually getting to hug or snuggle with anyone he actually likes, which might take up quite a bit of time, as, in certain situations, he simply won't let go. This becomes especially true if he's scared.

Back when he was still living as nothing but an experiment on Shiver Star, he wasn't allowed to do much of anything. His environment was sterile and boring, he wasn't allowed to explore, and even things that heavily involved him were decided without his input-or knowledge. The few times he got to leave the room he lived in was just so he could be used as a guinea pig by "them"-the scientists that created him.

At some point, he (accidentally, and unknowingly) caused a blackout at the lab, which allowed him to escape.

A couple of weeks afterwards, he met a younger Gavin, who took him back to a GSA camp.

During that time, Kaleo became very fond of five people-Gavin, Clove, Meta Knight, Flora, and Aqil. He was pretty happy with his life there, despite sometimes getting attacked or getting sick.

...Of course...good things never last.

After leaving Shiver Star, Gavin chose to leave Kaleo on Pop Star while the GSA went out to fight in the war. While Gavin's intentions were good, Kaleo misunderstood them-assuming that he was left because he was weak.

Kaleo preceded to spend any time he wasn't using to eat or sleep dedicated to training himself. Possibly not realizing how many years were passing, he kept the hope that Gavin would eventually come back, believing that he wouldn't be abandoned like that by someone he, at this point, considered to be a father.

Judging by his current prowess in fighting, it paid off big time.

While by himself, Kaleo caused a lot of...minor trouble-at least, compared to the other things that happen on Pop Star. He also gained a few enemies, probably.

So far, the only item Kaleo currently owns is a cape Gavin gave him, which he's extremely protective of. Assuming you value your well-being, don't ever touch it, and Nova forbid you damage it in any way.

The only thing he's more protective of than the cape is the real Gavin, who he adores to an almost obsessive, possibly unhealthy extent. This is especially evident in some AUs.

Excluding the guy that keeps getting mentioned here, Kaleo's opinions of people can be changed quite easily, and he can go from liking someone to hating them and vice versa pretty fast.

Among the rest of his mental problems, he also comes equipped with enough berserk buttons to create a small list. One of the biggest ones is family-and I don't mean seeing people with one.

As he has no actual blood relatives of his own, Kaleo automatically gets defensive whenever anyone's family is pulled into any situation. He'll also agree/disagree to certain things a bit easier that way.

Being an experiment, Kaleo cannot puff up or inhale things-he's stuck with what he's got. He also hates using any kind of weapons besides his bare hands.

When it comes to friends, and even enemies, he is quite the nicknamer.
