Description
had a challenge/project: take a scene from TF movies (1986, Bayformers) or old G1 comics, and redo it using the TFA style. [link]I chose the 1986 movie and the scene where Hot Rod, Grimlock et al. were against Sharkticons. (Artistic liberties were taken with the background. Translation: I was too damn lazy to draw the original Quintessons' lair.)
This was fun, so thanks for the suggestion.

I LOVE IT! Ever since I say Hotrod in Animated, I just can't imagine him without that bad-ass laser-bow now. It just suits him so well!! Btw, I LOVE the you drew the Sharkticons!

I know! That's why I loved TF: Animated!! The characters each had a special weapon that made the, stand apart from each other & the writers obviously cared enough to reference the source material & bring back the idea of the power chip rectifier! TF: Prime did a good job at this, too. Very awesome series. I fucking hate Bayformers. It's basically the exact same thing every time! TF: Prime is far superior in every way to Bayformers because they did EVERYTHING RIGHT!

Great job on this "movie" moment, done in "animated" style! Wish the "animated" series had lasted a few more seasons, now with the All Spark fragments all back together as The AutobotΒ Matrix of Leadership & Rodimus Prime having already making an appearance, there was real potential for a story or storylines for an "animated" version of the movie! Great job on Rodimus's bow, the Sharkticons design & Grimlock swinging 1 around like a mace by it's tail! Happy New Year!!!
