Description A commission I just finished for my friend Christine Auger-- I painted her three kids in fantasy 18th century costume, with baroque violins. It was a lot of fun, and the kids love how they turned out!

This is her son Alejandro, aka "Lumpy." He's two, and that's his teddy bear, Baby Bonnet Bear, also in period dress. They make for a dashing pair, don't they?

Yep it's me! I think you might be on to something re: 18th-century bewigged bears. Maybe you could hit up the historical re-enactment circuit.

SeekHim, he's not talented... he just has a mom who teaches violin and therefore is not allowed to avoid it.
Joanne, you outdid yourself with this one, and your idea to put a wig on Baby BonnetBear was the best ever! It cracks me up, and at the same time is adorable beyond belief.

Christine, is that you?

I'm so glad you like it! I hope they will look awesome framed and up on your wall. I like the teddy bear in 18th century clothes quite a lot myself-- I wish I had one!
