Description
For the next piece I did for romance author Jackie Barbosa , here's Conrad and Freddie (aka Winifred) from The Lesson Plan . She's a Katherine Hepburn-esque hoyden; he's the Cary Grant-esque straight man. This story takes place in the mid 1790s, a bit earlier than Hot Under the Collar , so I made their costumes and hairstyles more Georgian in flavor.Related content

I was about to post something to the effect of having been surprised that there was a good-looking lady AND a kite in the shot, which made the absence of Mr Ben Franklin downright mysterious - but then I realised she isn't ancient enough for his tastes.

Yeah, Franklin was a bit of a perv, wasn't he?

I would in fact describe him as a lusty reprobate and an eccentric polymath besides, but that may just be the product of sheer fondness for the old rogue and for mildly anachronistic verbiage besides!

Well, "lusty reprobate" sounds a helluva lot more Georgian than "perv"!

If one will crack wise at someone's expense, it is only sporting to do so in such terms that they too can laugh along WITH the joke and not just be laughed AT.
