Had an idea to recreate the Irish Tricolour in the style of the Nordic Cross. Ireland does have strong Scandinavian historical links, many of the largest cities have their roots in Viking settlements. I figure if there was more of a lasting Nordic influence, maybe if Brian Boru's campaigns failed, or the Kingdom of England never gets off the ground to the extent it did OTL, we might see something like this. Should the unification of Ireland transpire, it is unlikely we will continue to use the Tricolour (yo Flag Commission hit me up). While intended to represent both Catholics and Protestants, it seems to have been soured in the eyes of some. Nonetheless, I would be lying if I were to say I wouldn't mind. Alas, would unification fail on the stumbling block of a flag?

I plan to perhaps make redesigns of the Irish county flags (not terribly creative things at present, I'm afraid). I think to include some Nordic Crosses to reflect heritage. This national flag shown here uses the proportions of the Norwegian flag. If anyone has any ideas for more content, maybe some more flags, maybe some more Avatar stuff - I have some WIPs on the books - or something else entirely, feel free to suggest in the comments.
