Very "E.A. Poe"-esque (which is a good thing! 
There's a sliver of purple on the left side of the window frame, though (from the original background?) that could be shaved off. But other than that it looks perfect.
I can picture Mr. Poe sitting at that desk writing some chilling piece of fiction. As he bends over the page, though, a werewolf skulks by - but it has passed before Mr. Poe looks up again.
