I didn't know someone can suck an ARPG... but apparently yes. At some point I just give up and start rushing and blahblah stuff like this and previous ones happen. TWWM is great for making you practise backgrounds, but at this point I'm just super frustrated with myself.Ronya (she got her name, yay!) decided to fix the shrine, obviously, because she's a good kid.

The pallete looks so wood, and the Background is amazingly detailed! I love the shadows on the tree!!

I'm sorry you are feeling frustrated - I think you've done an excellent job with the background though! The variety of the foliage makes it interesting and I really love the texture of the tree bark. the soft yellow glow from the shrine is lovely and makes the piece feel a bit magical and atmospheric : )
