Unfortunately I don't read French, but I enjoyed the pictures.
These are called "gallerie" in Italian, I find them very interesting for their hybrid nature of external/internal space and the lighting from the ceiling.
This one you photographed looks really cool with those stalls full of books.
I would love to wander around searching for some fine book.
