Hammer's Slammers combat car without baggage on top.Based on descriptions in the book "Paying the Piper" by David Drake and this US Army Photo on Global Security [link]
Mostly, the photo provided a basis for perspective, and the actual design is based on descriptions in the book, some great wargames miniatures, and of course some personal experience operating out of Strykers (which will show more in the finished work).
