So uhh, if you've been following me on my Instagram and Sonic Amino, you've been seeing the teasers for this drawing.I am an unashamed shipper of Infinite and Amy Rose. I can no longer hide it. So there.

Headcanon: Amy would be the first to step up in the redemption of Infinite, whose real name might possible be Zero. In their time together, I feel that they would grow closely bonded, and that bond would later bloom into a romantic relationship.

I never really thought about these two as a couple but I remember I did read a fic with Amy trying to help redeem infinite, and I loved it because just like how in most fics when Amy and Shadow are paired she is always trying to see the good in him along with others and giving the benefit of the doubt and I do not know why but it took me longer then normal to realize that I like the idea of Infinite and Amy or there being some sort of story between them XD it perfectly makes sense for her character but that fic I originally found wasnt really an infinite x amy it was just about Infinite redeeming himself. Amy was just the one to kind of push things forward but it wasn't focused on those two in particular so its why my brain never really put two and two together until just now while seeing your work and seeing your writing did i realize "OH!...I love this XD"

I know Amy x Infinite is a "rare pair" but it is so cute to me tbh.
Like Amy would want to redeem Infinite and they would become friends, and possibly romantic partners?

I think if a writer can make it work, like make it believable for the reader and make people think "Huh, I could totally see that working actually!" then its a good story. It isn't even an out of character thing to think that Amy would not at least TRY, and it isn't like the feelings are all of sudden either. Like you said it could slowly blossom forward, so I think its an interesting concept for sure. One that I would love to see explored more. Don't let those people discourage you (:

The Sonic characters don't really have feelings for anyone. It's all up to the fans to ship and pair up characters.
