Description
This is a Japanese Tea Table made from red clay. The designs on all three sides of the table is my version of the Hopi pottery. I got the idea of the three sides from ancient Hopi ceramics and three legs from the chinese song dynasty. While The table is meant to be a tiny japanese tea table. As for the sides, each one has a meaning from the design. The first side is based on the wild nature of Nature (Trees/Vines). As nature is free and wild, This side is visible side. The second side represents man-kind destroying Nature as they make clear for development. Finally Side three shows Death of nature as a life-less man made building is visible where nature was. This piece is meant to show the horrifying acts that mankind does to function day to day. The finishing is to make the table look black marble with bronze inbreeded in the marble.Related content

The description is good but its better to see the other sides too. How would you do that?
Some ideas:
1. Take pictures of the top and sides. Upload the pictures and post the other sides with links so the viewers can see the story the way you put it on your artwork.
2.
Take pictures of the top and sides.
Load the pictures into a 2d app like photoshop and add the pictures into one big picture.
The advantage of this is that viewers can see the whole story at one place without traveling but it may not work depending on the size of the pictures.
Also this does not belong in the digital/3d section, it should be in the traditional section.
Probably can find a better audience there too.
Apologies if this is offensive.

Thanks for advise, but you didn't you criticize the quality of the table? XD
Anyway i took more shots of the other sides, i just didn't put them up thinking it would take up to much space. Well anyway it wasn't offensive and thanks again..... i have the other sides up with your willing to view them.

Could not critique the table if I can't see the whole thing. Could not see the first side too well either.
Would not be a fair critique just to see one side.
There is too much background being shown, probably could move the camera closer to show more details of the table.
The way this picture looks, its very similar to the "Model display" format that people use here to show off their models.

Well, i had problems with how close i could get with it. i was either to close or too far away. And thats kinda the best i got. But anyway i went portfolio day at Kebler college in grand rapids with some of my work without the Model display and they told me it wasn't professional. =/

Did you find out what they meant by "Professional"?
Did they explain exactly why?
That way you can find out if they really know what they are talking about and maybe get some tips or are they talking out of their butts.
I got a comment on one of my pictures at another site.
The guy said "If you are looking for a job in a game company, good luck".
It was not a good comment so I could imagine somewhat how you felt.
Artists have big egos because if they did not have them they would get crushed.
Keep banging away and you will get better.

Yea they did, they're were excepting grade A work and they were distracted by the room behind the piece. So i put up a white background to have the art stand out more. Also a comment is a comment i try not to take it seriously. Just because one person didn't like it doesn't mean another one wouldn't think its great....
