3/23/15 - Edit #2. Added her gem and cutie mark tattoo.3/21/15 - Updated the colors and fixed minor mistakes. I got her official colors from here and eyedropped the outfit colors from here . Her cutie mark is here . While they're not perfect colors, they're a whole lot better than the last version. Also, her outfit is slightly different in many points between this and the movie, so I estimated the best I could. Enjoy!

The colors are not official, just eyedropped from a screencap, so be careful when using this as a reference. I'll edit these when the official colors come out/I get HD screencaps.

My money says the girls are Changelings, Sirens, or ordinary girls using a cursed artefact that may have been part of Sunset Shimmer's backup plan. Alternatively, the Multiverse theory is true, and they're some variant of Siren.

Could be, but... Changelings feed off love. why would they break up a happy, loving school and start a fight/contest/battle when they could have just 'Replaced' somepony everyone loved, and fed off everyone's love for them?

Most likely. Probably Twilight, since she's actually a pony and therefore people would write off any OOC-ness or strangeness as "Twilight being Twilight". Or, Flash Sentry, since it's doubtful that he actually has any depth or character that'd make him hard to impersonate. Maybe they'd need to replace his closest friends, too, just in case.
