Gen 3 rarity redesign sorta and some lore for my au ive been thinking about !!

So in gen 3 theres a movie called the princess promenade and its obviously a kids movie so the themes kinda like being true to yourself and stuff but then i was like. "Okay well what if rarity became princess instead of wisteria" And so that was my starting point !

In this au pony ville came before canterlot so rarity is the princess of pony ville and helped build canterlot as the town expanded. Shes still a unicorn cause idk, the old princess ponies were all unicorns and i feel like the alicorns should sorta be deities and i couldnt think of what she'd be like? tied to or whatever so shes just a really strong and cool unicorn !
