This is my pride and joy this quarter.

One of my finals for Aesthetics. We were to use an art style from prior to the 80's.

So, naturally, it occurred to me to combine the classy pin-up style from the 50's with the old russian propaganda posters because the two styles are damn near the exact opposite, and this just sort of...evolved. I used Bettie Page as a reference (my class knew not of her, I heaped disappointment upon them) and I changed the outfit, of course, to something resembling the 40's, and I needed text to round out the "propaganda part", so I chose my favorite saying - courtesy of the 60's. Decade trifecta in play.

As an interesting side note, when this was still in process, we had a quick class review, and everyone *hated* it. I've shown a couple of other people who love it. So I'm extra curious about opinions on this one.
