i've been watching Fruits Basket lately, it's really cute
it was meant to be a quick simple drawing but i spent more time than i should have with background and i wasn't as motivated but i pushed myself to get it done!!
also, i wanted to try doing softer colors; thin lineart, retro anime eyes, etc and i'll admit i'm not used to duller colors but it looks nice in this one! >v<

The outfit really suits her a lot, her personality seems to somewhat parallel to Tohru as well, and the background just adds to the whole Fruits Basket vibe, you did an amazing job as always on this. I like Fruits Basket a lot as well, I watched the original (albeit cut short, since it only covered half of the manga) anime when I was a kid, it along with Dragon Ball Z (I think) was the one of the first animes I ever watched, and when I found out the manga went on for longer than the anime I read the whole manga. I was so glad to hear they were remaking this series, and that they were gonna cover the whole manga this time.
