Description Hey guys! It's been awhile. Posting some paid work  for a project I've been doing for for a little under a year now, I thought some of you might be into it. I don't love everything from this project, but I figure I'll just post the work anyway and leave my comments (positive or negative) in the description below.

This was the very first piece I did for the project, which is why the background is so barren (which is something I try to typically avoid these days). Originally he had a weird flintlock pistol but that was too modern for the setting (ignore the cigarette with the filter), so I just swapped it out with a butcherknife. His head was also completely different in an earlier iteration, the facial hair and eyes were added in a revision to make him less abstract looking.

Really cool stuff! I love the cartoonish proportions and the twisted anatomy. Great stuff! The dark colors and Victorian vibe are very interesting

Thanks! It was about as fun as a paid job could get, always entertaining goofing around in that ambiguous visual area between the Medieval and Victorian.

Hey Comick! As always, thanks for the support. Hope you've been well for all this time (I've been good). As far as the game goes, I'm pretty sure you'll all get to see it, it's crowdfunding campaign is coming pretty close to funding so I think it'll scrape by. Either way, I'll definitely be posting the rest of the art for the following days!

Hey! Busy is good, especially if you're gettin' paid! I'm glad things are going well for you. Still in San Fran? And sure, here's a link.

I didn't bother linking it in any of the artists comments because frankly I didn't want to give the impression I had come back to DA just to score some coin. (You'd have to be pretty desperate for that anyway, DA users aren't exactly known for having deep pockets) If people want to support it, that's cool! If not, that's cool too. Really I just want to post some of the art I've been doing, because everything else i've been doing is either under wraps or nonexistent. As always, thanks for caring!

Awesome! I threw in some $$ support to the game just now! Any little bit to help make sure it gets past that goal! Especially if it keeps you working and making more art work ya know? Oh and I saw the main board game, damn that was nuts I loved all the details you put into it. What really got me was that this wasn't just you contributed a little to the game art...the whole game is YOUR ART. That's so cool man, I hope you get a copy of it too just to see all the paintings you did in print as real board game and game play card goodies. Congrats!

Ah thanks Crystal! It made the funding goal and then some, although since you apparently backed it I'm sure you're aware. Looks like you'll be seeing more painting from me then! I'm glad you like the project. It's been pretty cool being the sole artist on the project, occasionally overwhelming but cool anyway. I'll be getting a copy of the game, as well as a prototype build to make sure all the art assets are configured correctly and there's no formatting/printing errors.

That's what I'm talkin' about man! Glad to hear you're doing well. And unfortunately haven't been doing much sketching these days, most of my free time has been spent moonlighting on this boardgame project. Also the last sketchbook I was getting close to filling ended up falling into the ocean, (most of it undocumented) so that was a sordid affair. I'd like to get back to that though!

every bit of art is a step in the right direction, even if that son of a bitch sea claimed a book!
