I get the impression that his wolf form can either be anthro or feral, but out of curiosity, what determines whether he shifts into an anthro wolf or a feral?

He can choose which one to shift into. He just focuses on that form. Both come in handy at different times, which my novel will reveal eventually, starting with this next chapter.

Another thing I've wondered about werewolves (And I'm sure the answer differs depending on the writer) is...what happens to their clothes when they transform?

They usually shred. Werewolves are more than double in size. Other werewolves get smart and pack a bag or something to put their clothes and extras in just in case, but if its on a whim, they usually end up losing them. XD

I don't know if one can do a tutorial of how to draw facial expressions. That's just something you have to reference from real life expressions and apply it to animals. It takes practice.

This is one superawesome reference sheet! I actually checked it out a long time ago, but now I'm commenting. It's so awesome that you put so much time and effort into your character. It definitely shows your love for him, which I think is essential to being a good writer: if you don't care about your characters, they just turn out flat.
The drawings are gorgeous, and I especially like his anthro form. There's something very majestic and graceful about it.

I love the orginal natural fur markings too. Gives me the classic werewolf feeling. I also love this work because aot of effort has been put into it's deisgn, and everything. A big welldone.
