My desktop layout changes so much! Newest additions: I sewed myself a tablet cover so it won't collect dust and what not. It's already ripping I've used it so much haha!My fully customizable Smaug toy! Ordered from Weta back when they did pre orders early last year. Totally worth it. I also have Toothless and Cloudjumper, as well as Talon from primal rage. My friend gave that to me, which is perfect because he is my absolute favorite raptor around!
My desktop background is epic art by . I love his grumpy cat series! And even though I've never played Five Nights at Freddy's, we watched lots of Let's Plays, and its a a great creepy game!

I anticipate even more photos will be added later, after FanX. I'm meeting Billy Piper and Matt Smith, so I might frame my photo-ops with them!
Oh, and I recently got a DSLR camera! SO HAPPY. It's awesome! Canon T5i, and I really love the quality. I'm obsessed with snapping photos now! I don't anticipate I'll do much standard photography that I can post on here, but I do plan on doing local cosplay portraits and photo shoots.

Oh my... You have this Smaug figure - this is TBD (the bridge direct) and NOT weta. Weta releases statues and not figures and they'll be releasing Smaug statues this year.
TBD is the one releasing all the Hobbit figures, the 6" and 3.75" lines, which were quite disappointing IMO.
I'm actually disappointed with this figure - it was supposed to be huuuge and it came out so tiny, quality could be much better and overpriced. It seems to have this 22" wingspan, but people were expecting more for so much money. BUT, he looks good on your monitor. : )
(i'm very much into collecting figures and statues - LotR/Hobbit, Aliens & Predators, HALO, etc. - lately ordered the Thranduil statue from WETAshop and I fangasmed so much : D and because there is no good Azog, I'm sculpting him myself - WETA released limited 26" statue that was for about 800$ which was quite expensive and much too big for my liking)
Did you pre-order any WETA Smaug statue? Which one, may I ask? : D

Ah, I know a lot of people were upset about their dragon. I guess my expectations were met. I can't understand why people were upset about the wingspan. Do they not have yard sticks in their possession? Before I purchased I got it out, looked at 22 inches and went okay. Then when I got it, it was exactly 22 inches. Why should I complain about something that was exactly as advertised? LOL Still baffles me.
As for an actual statue, I want to get the one where he's standing on top of the pile of gold, but its soooo expensive.

I dunno. I don't like the quality of TBD, it's really low.
I have collection of Toy Biz LotR figures back from 2001-2005 and their quality is much better. The sculpt, the paint is better, which should be embarrassing for TBD.
People were disappointed with Smaug because it was said to be in scale for their 3.75" figures or something... and it came out like a small dog for Bilbo.
TBD basically took ToyBiz's Fell Beast - ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I… and changed just few things, and that's it. As you can see, the rider looks riddiculously huge compared to the beast. Maybe that's why. If you don't count the wings, Smaug is a very small figure.
I didn't bother with buying because I thought 100$ is bit too much. Especially if you compare it to 18" figures by NECA - Halo's Master Chief, the Pacific Rim Jaegers, Hobbit's Bilbo and Gollum and other figures... they are much higher quality figures and they cost the same. Hell, NECA has even 15" high and 30" long Alien Queen for the same price - which devastates TBD.
I asked Randy from NECA if they perhaps plan to make Smaug figure (awww 30" long Smaug figure would be more than perfect)... But sadly, they said they have no such plans.
Oh man. That 21" Smaug is outstanding! But man, it's heavy - the statue weights 42lbs. But damn, 800$ is a lot... Very expensive, but damn, it's worth. It's limited to 2000 pieces, but I hope there will be some pieces left til the year's end... : (
But that's normal with WETA's statues, they use polystone which is high quality material and not cheap plastic. They also check each statue before packing, so you have on each packaging 'QC passed', so there won't be any mistakes in sculpt or paint - I think it's a great service.
I'll try to save money for this huuuge Smaug statue. It looks sooo gorgeous. WETA does great statues - that's good, but still it's sad there are no figures of Smaug. I think it's very lacking, because if other movies come out - you see the market flooding with different figures... Sadly, I think Hobbit failed it by giving TBD license for the figures. They haven't been selling very good like they could been - if they'd be selling good, they'd be producing them like crazy... But, at least there are some.
But, I'm very happy to hear you're happy with the Smaug figure. : )
I guess I'm too sad because I have too many figures on my shelves and my expectations are too high. : (

How do you get both computers to sync with each other like that?
I've seen how some people can drag something from one compute screen to the other one just by dragging the item-in-question over to the other compute somehow....
i never could figure how re how they were able to do that..

Duel monitors! Most modern computers have two monitor ports and can support two. It's pretty fun. I can have photoshop in the big window, and my browser, chat, or netflix or something in the other.
