Description
Character: Ribombee (Pokemon)Materials: Minky, suedecloth.
Size: Approx 8" tall from bum to top of head, forgot to measure anything else
Ahhhh sweet little bumble fairy~! I couldn't resist making her, though I did try haha She's just too cute~♥ I have to say, I'm not fond of the majority of gen 7 Pokemon, but the ones I like I like quite a lot. I actually made her a while ago now, but I only just got to taking photos. As much as I would've loved to keep her, I sold her to a friend instead~
Ribombee is made from yellow, taupe, white, brown and chocolate minky. She features a machine embroidered/applique face, with machine applique wing markings. Her eyelashes (?) and the whites of her wings are suedecloth. Her wings are lightly stuffed with quilt batting, and she can sit fairly well on her own.

Totally adorable. Wasn't even planning on training one and just caught a Cutiefly as a placeholder until I could get a Mimikyu, but I just fell in love with it. I nicknamed it 'Ribbon' after the Fairy from Kirby 64.

Thanks! I liked the character and since its name derived from 'ribbon' it seemed fitting. (and then I learned that the shiny colors were even MORE fitting to the character)

I actually didn't think I'd like Ribombee at first, but the design has really grown on me since the game came out! :0 You've captured it's adorable and kind of fairy-like appearance so well, especially in its eyes! The detail of the embroidery on the wings is awesome, too. :> I love all the colors of minky that you chose for it, it really pops the against the pink of the background especially.
