Description
this is for the contest that is due today.. i was hoping to have a more time to finish for the background and shading, but i got called into work early today. at least i got the characters down right x3

story:
It had been a peaceful day in the forest where the Ecathi roamed. The sun shown bright between the leaves of the trees and warmed up the day. It would have been quite hot if it wasn't for the shade since the wind barely reached between the trees. Cosa padded through the forest to clear his mind. His pard was having trouble with the prey in their area and would have to widen their search for food. After days of traveling he found himself in the forest. The forest was a bit quite with only bird calls and a few rustle in the leaves. As he kept his pace, his eye caught something brightly colored through the leaves. It didn't take him long to spot the female Ecathi in the tree close by. She didn't look all the friendly, but he pretended to not notice.

The female rustled the leaves as she crept down closer to the branch. She knew that she had been spotted and there was no use in keeping herself unseen. Cosa paused and glanced over to see the female hop down. She landed not too far away from him and slowly padded closer to the male. "What are you doing in my forest!" she snarled, clearly not happy with the new comer. He pulled back slightly since her welcome wasn't too inviting. "Nothing. I am just passing by so excuse me." he answered, his eyes dull with unamusement. Cosa started his pace again, before the female rushed his to side and slammed herself into him.
