Personality:
Shauri has quite an attitude and boy is she stubborn. She does whatever she thinks is better and she isn't afraid to be seen out of the crowd. Even for a mute, she is outspoken (physically) and will go against the higher ranked lions. Shauri does not stand for unfairness nor does she let other lions be taken advantage of. She has quite a temper and will often seek time alone to either go scratch up a tree or go hunting. She is also known to take her anger on the ones around her. Stay too close and she just might smack you in the face. Besides her violent and head strong behavior, Shauri will do favors but her kindness doesn't for free. If they do not scratch her back, she will go after them hard. Fairness is everything to this lioness. Her biggest fear is to be treated unfairly as well as the others around her.

Background
Shauri was born a different pride in the west. She was from the first litter and as she grew so did her sibling count. By the time Shauri was two years she had twelve other brothers and sisters. Her pride was huge because of her father's over breeding and that always nerved her. He, Ragai, would always change his heir between two of his brothers. When one screwed up, even slightly, her father would disown him and then turn to the other brother. Shauri knew this was ridiculous and that no other king did that. The family was broken between the siblings that sided with Shauri and the others that sided with their father. Ragai became harsher and harsher as his offspring grew older. He even started to pick different sons to become his true heir. One night, one of her brothers slain his current heir to show that he would be the better king. While the pride was surprised, Shauri was not and knew that this needed to end. That morning, Shauri faced her father and stood up against him. He fought back and set her siblings on her. She refused to seriously hurt them and they took her down. That evening, in front of the whole kingdom, Ragai decided to punish Shauri. While one her siblings held her down, Ragai grabbed Shauri's tongue and cut it out of her mouth. It was to show that anyone against him would be silenced.

Shauri was exiled from her birth pride and she ventured off to find a new home. This time alone helped her become a "special" kind of huntress. She became brutal and merciless to her prey. She would take out all of her anger on them and would often slam them into the ground. After about a year on her own, Shauri came up to the Delta Island Pride. By this time, she didn't care where she was, she just wanted some kind of solicitation.
