Description
THAT IS A ---PLASTIC--- SKULL. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get the courage to pick it up myself;;; ROFLPart of my last assignment for my art class. We had to do 4 portraits (4 different views) and 4 skull studies (4 different views)... I'm posting this into my gallery and not my scraps because I kinda like how it turned out;;; Not perfect, but not bad either.
That last one in the bottom right corner was a pain because I had to stand up next to the chair and balance my drawing pad on my leg to draw the skull from a top view;;;

I've got a similar rubbery skull at home. My bro and I use it to practise drawing all the time. We hide it all over the house though, to get people to scream and stuff and to see how long it takes for someone to notice it. The best place recently, was we put it in the fridge. ;D

AHAHAHAHAA!!! I LOVE IT! Have you tried placing it around somewhere with it dressed up before? Like a pink bow on its head or something and then have it on top of the TV? I have no idea where I'm going with this comment but I am greatly amused~ lol

We've never dressed it except for once with with a hat on the mantlepiece with some keys in its mouth, but we put it on a pillow, once and stuffed the bed with clothes so that it looked like a skeleton was sleeping there.
I'll never forget my mom's scream that day.

Haha, if you can get your hands on one of those skulls, they are perfect for pranks.

I suddenly feel very glad that I was able to snag one of the large lockers in the Art & Design building on my campus and that I don't live too far away;;; Good luck though that people start to open their eyes and show a bit more consideration for your artwork ; v ;

Awww thank you, I don't think I'm that good yet though. Since its a fairly small picture of the original you can't see the errors;;; Besides, I'm sure you're doing great dear!!! I'd love to see some of your pieces too ; v ; <3333

but i hate most of them. i said once i'm done with art school i was burning all my art from my foundation classes ;A; that's how much i dislike them.

You shouldn't burn them!!! They're the stepping stones to improvement, and you need something to look at and motivate you to improve in the future. I still have artwork I did over 10 years ago.

but they don't motivate me, just make me feel worthless and stupid. ;n; i wish they could make me do positive things but i just can't see pass how horrible they are. :c

PFFT That happens to me too, but its good to look back and see what things you've improved upon. Besides, even if you think they're worthless, you can always find something that you're proud of. Even the littlest of things is reason enough. Did you know that some of the most famous artists have done THOUSANDS of drawings in their life time. Practice makes perfect, but determination and acknowledgment of your own faults and strengths is what allows a person to grow. Don't give up hope dear <3

To be or not to be – that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And, by opposing, end them.
Nevertheless, this one ain't so bad - skulls do still make for good artistic pieces, especially in conjunction with literature (in certain cases).
