I think the soft, gentle lighting of this looks very nice. Overall, it's very easy to look at. I also like the sharp, contrasting focus of the center of the flower. The one thing I would say though is that it would be nice if there was more contrast in the picture overall, or if maybe you adjusted the levels some to bring out the contrast a bit. This is a very nice photo though, good job!

Beautiful, although the flower almost blends with the background and subject mixing with background is not a good thing..... Well... In my opinion. It's up to you and your artistic taste anyways.

Try looking at it a different way. The green middle of the flower is in perfect focus, everything else is kind of in and out. So that's the base, and then going outward to the left everything gets softer and softer white, less and less in focus. It's about how the picture flows.
I think after having done nature photography for a long time, I put more subtle emotional things into the pictures than meets the eye, and I think it gets lost on most people. No one's fault, I think that's probably how a lot of artists feel, lol.
