About the picture: I'm aware of Fullmetal Alchemist. But I've only seen the first anime, and while I loved it, that means I'm really out of the loop on the real canon. I want to see it/read it, but I haven't had time.
So I needed some research to get this done. Like I didn't know all the story behind these two, or about 'protecting eachother's back'. Also, I've never seen Riza in a dress, and had to cover her back, so I ended up designing my own gown. This SUCKED because all the gown refs I looked at were like... tubes. GET CREATIVE, GOWN DESIGNERS. Goddamn.
Anyway. I had more to say, but I think I'll just make a journal about it later.

Yeeaahh... I looked through several sites, from evening gowns to prom gowns to wedding gowns and they were all tubes. With notes saying "Oh, the beading is-" or "Oh, the bodice-shape is-" NO. Tubes. All of them.
