This is a painting of Dylan and the Thin Man (see title
) from the movie Charlies Angels: Full Throttle aka the second one. Now I haven't seen the first movie but managed to watch this Angels venture. I thought it was rubbish but the Thin Man (Crispin Glover) is incredibly strange and so of course I was always going to end up painting him
Because the Thin man has that 1920's look about him I decided to do the skin tones in Black and White with colour on Drew's hair and the lights. It's an experiment really.
Acrylic on canvas. This took around four hours to paint.

I really liked delving into Black and White with this one. I'm always trying to find a style that intrigues me...I want to experiment more with my painting, god knows I have enough canvas

Yes, these were the only two characters that came away (kind of) unscathed by the silliness. At one point everyone was going on about him being the Joker.

Yeah, I heard something about that. And it does make sense, for people to think he'd make a good Joker. But, Heath Ledger is going to be the best without a doubt.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Heath is going to completely own this role. It's a mesmerising look and he's definately got the acting chops for an amazing performance.

Hahahaa, yes...I think he's the only thing worth a look in this film. Everything about the film was ridiculous...I have to say that the strip dancing scenario to retrieve a set of keys from a baddie goes beyond ridiculous and into shamefully embarrassing and exploitative. I know it's not meant to be taken seriously but....c'mon!
