This is a painting of Dylan and the Thin Man (see title
) from the movie Charlies Angels: Full Throttle aka the second one. Now I haven't seen the first movie but managed to watch this Angels venture. I thought it was rubbish but the Thin Man (Crispin Glover) is incredibly strange and so of course I was always going to end up painting him
Because the Thin man has that 1920's look about him I decided to do the skin tones in Black and White with colour on Drew's hair and the lights. It's an experiment really.
Acrylic on canvas. This took around four hours to paint.

Just got fascinated by this couple from Charlie's Angels, and god knows he would've been perfect for a wild one like Dylan. Definitely bookmarking the chapters in this series for.. * ahem* reference.

I cannot believe they killed off Thin Man - he was the best character ever!! But, If they make a 3 , he many be in it. He seemed to survive flying off a bridge in a racing car, being blown up inside a castle and having his bike explode with him on it, so I think being stabbed and falling off a building is no biggi !

Really wonderful pic! One of my fav moments in live movies (I'm into animes and cartoons, actually). I absolutely love this couple! And the "old" effect is perfect here ^^
By the way, it seems that he survived... While re-watching the movie, I saw that he was still alive after the fall, and it seems that he pushed Seamus below the falling things... so I guessed he lived. And then I searched about more infos... They finally won't do the 3, but some years ago they started thinking about a scenario and about the actors... And one of the film writers told that she thinks about taking again Glover for the Thin Man... so, it must mean he's alive

I find these movies hilarious, I'm still curious about this coupling though. What relevance was there to the movies? (I kinda skipped the 2nd one and went from 1 to 3... Oh well)

is that "Epic Movie". He parodies Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka.
Its the most freakin' insane thing ever... ROFL!
If you rent it just fast forward to his part...
the rest is too painful to have to witness.

When I read the title, I didn't recognize the characters. The first thing that came to mind was Bob Dylan's song Ballad of a Thin Man

I seen it in at the movie theatre, because I have thought he was cool sense I was a kid, and his performance was amazing, didnt think it was going to be that good!!!! Bargain price is how I got it too, think it was like 5 bucks. Dont you think he would be amazing as a batman villian???

I think he'd be exceptional as the riddler. I could have seen him as the Scarecrow as well, but Cillian Murphy did such a fantastic, creepy job in that role.

Will have to look up ONTD...First time I've heard of it! Poor bloke, though. How did they get his number? I wish the thin man had survived too, but frankly, I'm not sure if they'd do a third film. Haven't heard anything about it though. If they did *waves finger in the air * invest in a plotline and stop the silly dancing and stupid stunts!!!

A girl he was dating dumped him and called him a douche and pretty mush slammed him on her myspace account leaving his cell number.
That movie.. Grr McG was getting stoned throughout the making of the movie along with the girls, so I don't think they much cared about a coherent plot.

The film gives the impression that the director was 'elsewhere'. It's a shame, really that plot, dialogue and character development is replaced by stupidity.

Hahaha, it is quite a Dracula pose and he is incredibly pale in this movie. Whether or not it's worth the pain of watching the movie all the way through, I'm not sure. The Creepy thin man is a great character though.

I'm not very enthusiastic about this kind of movies, so it's not very possible for me to watch it, though the character looks interesting. If by any chance the movie will be on tv, I'll try to see it.
