although the joker in the movie is very different from the one in the comic book, but actually its kindaa better.. more dramatic than ironic...
love the painting, has a bit of a vintage look, but it only made it better and unique..

I just saw the movie today. The Joker has and always will be one of my favorite nemeses of batman. Besides all that, the movie was awesome.

I'm really looking forward to it. The Joker was my fave too and it sounds like Heath has really pulled off this role.

Glad to hear that. There's quite a few reviews I've read that have said he got into the role so much that you don't see Heath Ledger on the screen...only the Joker, which of course is testament to the actor in creating such a believable character.

Yeah, I think you see him once without his makeup on, but it's not necessarily Ledge it's still the joker. He still has those scars, it's like a really quick thing though.

I think I know what scene that is. I believe I have a pic of that somewhere on my comp. It's a lovely pic and I wanted to paint it but afraid it might be a tad spoilerish (considering what he's wearing at the time)

Thank you! It turned out to be one of the fastest pics I've painted on that size canvas. Have to say, the buildings were just quick strokes and there isn't a huge amount of niggly detail in it, so that helped
