Hahah, cheers. Heath is going to rip a bloody big smile into my face when I see him onscreen in July. Cannot wait!

I saw a trailer for his movie (or scenes) I'm not There, I think is the title, about Bob Dylan. Seeing him in there was surreal, almost like he was still alive. It's sad. Heath was an actor I could proudly call my favorite.

Another outstanding piece. Do you outline first or just drop the paints down as you go?

Cheers mate. I do a system of blobs when I paint get the (very) general outline of where everything is going and then leap into painting mode. When I paint, I don't usually mix the colours first, just apply and mix on canvas (because acrylic dries so quick, I find it easier to blend this way)

Thank you. Painting him has been cathartic. I too found it difficult to rewatch the trailer. Eventually I did although in the back of my mind, there's a pang of sadness but I still really enjoyed watching him.

Thank you. This is probably the quickest Joker painting I've done so far. It's large brushstrokes for the background and the suit and a limited amount of detail for the face. I'm also getting extremely used to the shape of his face. I want to get down to doing a painting in 20 minutes Could be interesting to see how far I get.

I'm sure you can. Like everything else, if you keep on with it, you kind of get into the groove. You can develop a passion for it. The thing I especially like about acrylic is that if your first painting sucks, you simply paint over it ad infinitum

Major psychosis in a man is becoming a bit of a turn on, which is a bit worrying
Crazy talk is the phrase for it all right but hey, what's life without a few laughs and some big risks

Hmm you should probably keep that in check haha! But I absolutley agree, to quote Sirius Black: "What's life without a little risk?", anyway as a certain clown once said, if you've gotta go, go with a smile!

Arrrgh!! Your icon is from a graphic novel that I own and can't remember the title of (was it Devil's advocate? ) Joker's about to be fried in that, and falls asleep on the chair Always thought that was a nice touch.

Yeap, it's from "Devil's Advocate". I'm really, really, reeeaally suffering from lack of comic-books and comic-shops in Poland. It's driving me mad, guess I'm gonna fall into lunacy soon. For my next opportunity to buy some new comics I'll have to wait till summer-holidays. I'm going to buy Devil's Advocate in the first place Damn, I've got only few pages of it...

It's because I'm painting him so much. You just start getting quicker at painting the annoying things you fussed over at the beginning The background was just a whole load of yellow and big brush strokes.
