The recent video blog of Watchmen made me all gooey with excitement when I saw this scene
Obviously I removed the camera from the still and the composition in the film might not end up like this but I still felt the need to paint it.You can find it on the Watchmencomicmovie.com website:

If you ever plan on calling Rorschach 'Squidgy face' make sure that:
a. You're wearing fast running shoes
b. You have a can of beans handy with which to distract him with....or...
c. You don't mind picking out shards of glass out of your hand for the rest of the evening.
'Stupid' is what Rorschach says to the man. Can't say I blame him.

Someone already said it but I'll say it again, sugar cubes! He is like a horse, he can be distracted with sugar cubes
As for the art, great piece again. I think you've done good progress, but I do think the mans hair could have more detailing although it should be looking greasy or something? Then the detailing would kinda kill it. * answering to her own questions *

He does like his sugar...bless. His diet is quite eccentric in a way, but he gets his fibre and protein from beans and eggs and has a sugar boost for energy from Dan's cubes.
I think in order to lose weight, people can't go wrong with the 'Rorschach Diet' However it must be done along with exercise including breaking bones, hanging off ledges and the extremely popular - jumping out of fridges.

Ooh, the hair! Yes, I think you're right, more highlights should have been added, however it seems fuzzy because of crappy camera capture, although frankly that's no excuse

Oh, I most certainly will XD. I'm getting as hyped about this movie as I did with The Dark Knight.
It would be so sweet to have an extented directors cut thingy on DVD. I think they might do that, Zack being a huge fan and I think it was reported that he'd cut a lot of stuff already to get it down under 3 hours. *Rubs hands together*

man, i love how you did the texture on Rorschach's face. it looks perfect. not to slick, but not to clothy, either. and the area around his ears and jawline perfectly imply how snug the mask is.

Yeah, the black splodges were feathered a little to give that kind of cloth effect and I had to add a little colour to his mask to stop it from sticking out a mile

Cheers! I had to change their looks slightly because the reference doesn't have the glass smashing, and so their expressions weren't as suprised as they should have been.

It took around 3 days to do this on 50 x60 cm canvas. One of the hardest things to do was highlighting Ror's mask so it stood out!
