Ahahahaaaa!!!
This is a still of the Joker threatening Rachel in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Painted from an image I found somewhere on'tinternet.
I have to say, I wasn't hugely impressed with the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the beginning, but frankly he's grown on me and now I can't wait to see what he does with the character. I reckon he'll do a cracking job.

practice and the pure enjoyment of it. I don't see there's any difference by copying from a photograph or copying from life, there's always differences no matter how minor when you recreate something. That's just me though

Hopefully you found Heath's interpretation of the Joker to be the best and the most applaudable! He was definitely made for that role. It's just sad that he won't be able to be in a future film as the Joker.

The hype completely gripped me. When i get obsessed over a movie the paintbrushes come out and I go overboard

I'm always trying to get richer colours in my stuff. Acrylic dries dark so it's a challenge to try and lighten it with layering.
