Description
Flames of AutumnThe trees are on fire
one last blaze of glory
before the long sleep
before the chill
when all is barren and lost
to shine bright, one last gasp
make an end to be remembered
The sky is on fire
the sun dips behind the hills
one last glimpse
before the black
lingering hope before the dark
The land is empty
barren
no creature in sight
no sound but the wind
and yet it shines
the sky is dark,
the fire long burnt down
and yet not all the embers have gone out
Though all the land is dark and empty, glory lingers still
in the sky and in the snow the lies upon the hills
and like a phoenix from the ashes dost light and beauty bring
the fire shall be rekindled in the coming of the Spring

So when will you write and post another?
Its a lonely shame that you've only one poem in your gallery considering how awesome your writing is ^^
