Description DFS1

sharpening doesn't really work well because of the huge contrasts, but believe me its high quality

The render is great, and the background is alright. The coloring is good, and the darkness is better.

Sick. Like night and day compared to some of your peaceful pieces... I love it. You can just feel the energy and tension shooting through the piece.

Renders are great, post brush work is excellent. What really makes it amazing for me though is the way the background ties into it. You really nailed the lighting of the background, particularly how the color of the light changes based on what's reflected off the model. I'm curious, did you paint it from scratch or render against it with the lights? Either way, great job.

thanx the background is a fractal render which I inverted and blended with an additional (colored) lighting layer (bit of brushig, and some graydients). next to that I also did some color work in post production.

Gotcha. Well, it works. It could be I'm more enthralled with the background because it tends to be a source of frustration for my work. But either way, I love it.
