I've gotten a fair amount of positive response to my other Haku photo, and the response I got on cosplay.com, so I decided to post a full shot of it here.the only thing I dislike is the way the photo processing ruined the colors. the pants aren't that dark, they're really much closer to the film's colors...
But thank you Darkain (unforgivenmind) for taking the picture! The composition is wonderful!

I love you Haku cosplay, you mentioned on your site that you had trouble with it, would you consider doing a tutorial to help other cosplayers? I've been a little stuck on his tunic thing too lol.

Unfortunately, I didn't really document what I did, and what worked versus what didn't work. I just kept... tweaking it as I went. I made this over three years ago now, I don't even really remember what I did.

I wish I could help you, but unfortunately a lot of the work on that costume was trial and error. I made an remade pieces over and over, hand-stitched some pieces...
I don't know what it is called either, and I drafted the pattern pieces myself based on a tutorial I found somewhere online. I don't have the link anymore, and haven't been able to find it again... ;_;

I started with a dark brown wig, and custom dyed it by adding green over top. The shoes, I made myself, modifying a pair of normal flip-flop sandals.
