Pheew... I started out with a reference picture (of a playboy model, I might add) and wanted to see how close I could get to the original. In Illustrator... It was quite entertaining doing the basic vectors but quickly became a b*tch as it grew in complexity. The grid looks like something from a 3D viewportSo, even though there still are a couple of things I'm not happy with, I say "NO MORE of this sh*t" ... It feels like typed in each RGB for every single pixel in this picture...

Wow! All this is done in Illustrator? Compared to this, I am a complete Illustrator amateur! I don't even have the faintest idea how to accomplish anything even remotely like this!

thanks for comment... and really - there is no reason why you you couldn't do this... i had almost no experience with illustrator before doing this... i made the ladybug just to see how gradient meshes work.
