Description ♥ Devastatosaurus Rex, based on the V-rex from Peter Jackson's KingKong.

♥ whoot! i finished it at last! though i will be adding a few retouches here and there, the head and parts of the upper torso were colored using my conventional way, but i used masking in the later parts of the body, which made my coloring a lot faster thanks to a tutorial i found here in DA, though i can't remember who's gomen nasai!

♦ Subject to minor edits here and there.
♦ Unipin 0.1 and 0.3 finepoint
♦ Photoshop CS2.
♦ Total Time: 7+ hours.

Very cool beastie! I love the way you combine the lineart and the colouration to create the textured effect of the skin. I actually rather like the minimal background on this. It accentuates the dangerous animal much more without distraction.

I really can't think of anything that should be altered on the actual dinosaur. The only thing I'd say is to make add some texture to the foreground. :]

You must've worked you ass of with this! Either that or you're just way to talented! The way you made the texture, coloring and everything else is just great!

Seriously, it looks like you invented the timemachine, went back in time and asked a dinosaur to be a model. Very well done!
