Aww thank you! I could probably make a tutorial someday, but it was really just gradient, drawing random white/pale green/pale yellow dots everywhere then doing some blue airbrushing on an "Add" layer to make everything shiny ;v;
I actually kind of want to see if Bill is subtly controlling Dipper but he would probably do something like that to stop Mabel from getting the way haha

Oooh I used to use paint.net! If you need a different drawing program I think a few of my friends use something called FireAlpaca, maybe you will find it useful because I don't think paint.net has stabilizers

What's Fireaplaca and stabilizers?

FireAlpaca is like a simplified-ish version of sai, which is a really good program that's specifically for digital art and stuff. I use Clip Studio Paint though ovo
Stablisiers are basically my godsend when it comes to lines, because I have shaky hands, stabilisers make my lines a bit smoother so they aren't all bumpy and stuff

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN LIKE
- super high school level detailed + gorgeous background!! oh man the spacey look is so pretty and then the transparency of the entire thing adds another layer of like "existence" to it or w/e idk how 2 word things every time i laugh my abs hurt give me a break
- A FEW WEEKS AGO YOU WERE BARELY DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUSTSHOTS/STRATEGICALLY-CUT-OFF-SHOTS WITH SIMPLE BGS AND HERE YOU ARE WITH TWO EXPRESSIVE WELL-SHADED FULLBODIES AND A SUPER PRETTY ONE YOU'RE MOVING OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND IT'S PAYING OFF A LOT $$$
- none of these points make any sense at all i'm so sorry but i've gotten more hours of pain than sleep this week
- WELL DING DONG FLIBBITY DANG LOOK AT THAT HAIR SHADING IT'S IMPROVED SO MUCH like before this i felt like u were just kind of placing shaded strands in random areas and hoping that it'd look ok if u know what i mean but it all comes together rly well yeyeyeye
- soft painty lovely shading yes pls sign me the FUCK up that is some GOOD SHITΒ ππππππππππ
- i think i might have touched on this before but i love how much their body language and expressions say about how they're feeling and acting in the moment and i just love this a lot

i guess also a few points to improve on?? i should do this part much more often tbh bc i guess in the end it's equally as important as the praise-y bits
- the reflective lighting from the magical void-chan portal would likely extend more strongly to the other surfaces of the backgroundΒ
- a lil iffy about the folds of mabel's sleeves - tbh if i were u i'd just wear a sweater and stick out my arm and then cry while doing lineart because that's how i roll (into void-chan)
- the way that dipper's pants are shaded makes them stand out very starkly against how blended the rest of the shading is and to be 150% honest it looks like u got a little lazy altho i don't blame you in the slightest looking at this monster of a piece in general lMAO
- composition/arrangement of the voidy blobs could have been done a little more well to fill in the area more idk that might just be me being picky as fuck
- the way mabel is floating makes her pose look really awkward - i like how her expression and the pose work together, but her hips look stretched v uncomfortably and her legs look disproportionately shorter/smaller than the rest of her body (esp compared to dipper's legs) (i spelled legs with two gs so it was 'leggs' i am crying)
- mabel's face looks much rounder compared to dipper's and i understand that they're not identical and are of different genders but it looks sort of strange with how much more defined/angular dipper's jawline is
- the shape of the bg globe thing looks sort of like a snowglobe but the way it's shaded made me think that the black-and-yellow striped surface was completely flat like the ground and the twins were floating above that instead of in the sphere //sweats nervously

-aaaa i actually had a "glass" layer with the shading in a clipping layer above it and the glass layer itself was at like 2% opacity so i probs should have just done the shading and not the white/cyan w h o Β ops
