Brightened and bumped up the contrast and color saturation a bit. Thinking the overall effect would be better if the tears had that magnifying and color deepening appearance that water creates. Still, the onslaught of hormones in fearful or wounded tears is good for the 'affect'.

On further inspection, I noticed that putting the highlight directly on top of the bead, and leaving the bottom darker, would have a more desirous rounded effect.
