This was a pose practice... and a 'let's see if I can draw with a brace on' practice that turned into sads XD And the realization that no, I cannot draw very well with a fractured wrist goddamn

Poor Layla

TL;DR musings ahead:

Spurned from thinking about Layla's story and her 'AU' relationshio with =dragonofthesand 's Sauria, and how Layla could potentially actually want a lasting relationship for once, but then realizes Sauria wants a family and completely overthinks the situation (because she thinks she can't give Ria a family and also she's really bad at having feelings) so she starts pushing her away and... well then Sauria is hurt by that, and Layla completely loses control of the situation and it comes to a point where they stop talking to each other because Sauria is pissed and Layla is sad but thinks it's for the best for everyone. Again, bad at feelings haha

AND THEEEN they go on a mission together that completely goes to shit, and Sauria gets cornered and Layla gets the brilliant idea to intervene even though she's drag-ass tired out and can't keep up her shikai. So even though Sauria could have handled it just fine, Layla pulls the guy away. And then this happens. I assume Sauria would proceed to flip her shit~ But yeah, normally Layla wouldn't do something like that, she's usually much smarter about this stuff, but she's made a bit irrational by the fact that she already pushed Sauria away, past reconciliation (she thinks) and basically emotionally damaged herself
