knowing my luck i probably lost and am going to get 3rd place or something shitty like that but oh wellummmmmmm my entry for the NAGC halloween art contest eh... nothing special and nothing good =/
i did try a new coloring technique.

Putting all those sparkly coolthings effects on the one you submitted was a good idea, it made your pic SHINE.

Yeah that Lire...... NAhhhh I think it's getting first. The only advantage I even possibly have is a decent outfit design but... seriously if I had done a background it would of made my pic more worthwhile. :c

Which is why those sparkles were good! :3 They upped your background out of its plainness (yeah, it could still be more, but it looks nicer).

I hope you at least place third, Sunie. IMO it looks like you did a thorough job and you gave it a good effort (even though you hate saying OMG ITS MY EFFORT LEMME WIN CAUSE I WORKED HARD BLABBAH) and, to me, it looks like a good piece. It has your own style to it- I hope they grade based on how it doesn't look like generic anime characterization.
Anyway, best of luck! I hope you get somewhere high up!

You're being too cynical. Have goals! Always chase a dream, no matter how close it might be or how simple. It's the euphoria of accomplishment that gives meaning to what you do. Even if you don't win, you still have positive reviews for your work.
