I've been staying up really late doing these was practices. It's 9am and I haven't slept so this is the last for today's session.Didn't use a reference, so tried to use just my soggy brain.... mmmm...

wow - doing it without using a reference is awesome. the outcome is great. The proportions are good and I love the detailed eyes + the single strands of hair - very good, you really get better and better with every pic!!!

There's a certain amount of pride about being able to do something without a reference.. But I think when I do more 'finished' stuff, I'll use refs, just to save some time

sure - I mean there's nothing bad about using a reference. I remembr your one pic some time ago (the pencil sketch from a famous statue - dunno- David? Argh I forgot...) That was also absolite awesome. Doens't matter for me if with reference or without - it#s always good for getting better
