Lots happened on this page! I went a little overboard with the little details haha (if you look closely at the poke balls you can see the pokemon inside them!)

Notes:
- DO NOT. EVOLVE. YOUR NIDOS. FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE.. spare yourself....they are so difficult to draw..........50% of the effort that went into this page was JUST figuring out how the hell to draw Princess
- as much as I love having an overpowered pokemon this early in the game, I wish I had known how difficult Nidoqueen was going to be to draw. ;w; Hopefully now that I've figured out how to draw her it will become easier.
- Thea's evolution was pretty uneventful. She was close to evolving so I just took down a couple wild pokemon on my way through Route 4 to give her that final exp boost. I feel a little bad for not showing her evolution in-comic after giving Princess a dramatic evolution, but we gotta get things moving!! The next couple pages are full of action
- uh. also!! Bindi is my precious child and I love her. Magenta specializes in cute pokemon sorry I don't make the rules
- In the MAGENTALOCKE universe, Cerulean City is a sleepy little coastal town. One of those ones that overlooks the ocean on a cliff and gets heavy fog during the winter. The beaches I visited as a kid were like that, so I wanted to include one <3

RULES:
1. Catch only the first Pokémon encountered in each route/city/area.
2. If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and must be released immediately.
3. Nickname all captured Pokémon.
