Yes! Surely this is as a canon couple?! Wakaba needed someone secure to pick up the pieces after Saionji...did a Saionji, and besides flirting with Akio I don't think Wakaba actualy got another love interest. Besides, Tastuya seemed to really love her, so it's a wonderful little ship.

I never saw evidence that they became a couple before the end of the series. But I like to think it was still highly possible, so it's my headcanon.

D'aww. This is sweet. I really think Wakaba should have picked Tatsuya (though I think it's implied that she does in the end) instead of wasting her time on Saionji. Saionji was a jerk to her (mostly because he was under the influence of Akio/Mikage, but some of it was his fault too.)

This was inspired both by the Black Rose arc, and the final arc. Tatsuya never got a black rose, so I thought he should have a dueling uniform. Wakaba's gown was indeed inspired by the other Rose Brides that appeared in the final arc.
