First time drawing a ship, guys.Aha! I'm quite sorry about the slightly late submission, but for January exchange I got for my part, and her lovely character, Latrocin! <3
Ahh, this was so fun to paint! I originally had something completely different planned, but as I developed the piece, my ideas continued to change and so did the picture. Looks like the poor fellow got himself stranded!

I really like your painting style. The water looks fantastic and the contrast between the red sails and the water is great. Really good choice of colours. And for a first time ship, that is pretty well done, looks good.

Like seriously how I told you on skype, I've been yearning and trying to do a composition like this and here you do it with one of my characters and so effortlessly and beautifully I don't even know how to properly garble my feelings about this ;; Thanks so much Levi, I just want to like get a big print of this and stick it on my wall, it's beyond amazing ;^;

This is an amazing first drawing of a ship! o:
The composition looks amazing; The colors give an amazing beach feeling. The ship is just amazing, I love those sails. I don't exactly where they are from, but they are gorgeous~
There is only one flaw, the perspective of Latrocin and the don't seem to add up. The ship looks like it's tilted forwards :l
I like this drawing, there may be some small flaws, but none of them make it any less enjoyable to look at (:

Thank you very much! Ah for the sails I was taking inspiration from
multiple paintings.
Yeah, I had noticed that before I finished the piece, but I was having
trouble fixing that perspective to match with the ship.

Messing the perspective up really sucks :l
I experienced, that it normally happens, when I zoom in and concentrate to much on on single part. Trying to paint as much as possible on full view seemed to help me to avoid such mistake. I hope you find your own way to get the perspective right, good luck with that! c:

Well, I liked the colors and all, but the little guy is in the wrong perspective compared
to the ship, and I could have cleaned up the water better after moving the ship. I probably
also could have added maybe some barrels or other supplies in the side of the ship cause it
looks quite empty ;v;
