Howdy. Here's a somewhat-old mock-up of a game I want to make one day, preferably in RPGmaker. The main character's design has changed a little, but other than that, the story is unchanged.

Avan is a zombie coming to terms with their afterlife. They get hired by an eccentric vampire named Leon to perform groundskeeping duties, and all is well--until Leon goes missing. Avan and Leon's secretary, Beth, enter the depths of Mildew Manor to find out what has become of Leon.

Inspired by Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, classic RPGmaker horror, and House of Leaves, Groundskeep is a labyrinthine horror story about what it means to live and what it means to die.

Most art for this story may end up on my alternate account, as there's quite a bit of body horror, gore, and dark themes. Before we get there, though, we have a fun little Halloween-like aesthetic going on.
