I don't know about you, but I want a baby changeling queen as a pet! They're adorable!Here it is, part 1 of the graphic story I had planned. A part 2 will be around hopefuly sometime in the future to continue it off.

Well, actually, as a prey species and herd aanimal, of course that's their instinct, thats what they're genetically programmed to fear. Changelings and dragons are predators, and Zebra's paw at the ground for water, which a pony does when pissed off. Zebras look different.

Poor Chrysalis. I felt sorry for her... I don't know, but if she feeds from love, doesn't sound like she wanted to take Equestria out of evilness... It was more a necessity. She stated, they had more love than she had ever found, so her kind could have enough food. I wonder if they could just learn to coexist

You know what, guys? She has a point.
On one hand, biologically, it make sense: horses are a prey species, so to be too trusting of other creatures can be extremely dangerous; and, as changelings feed off their love, they can be defined, if not as predators, but at least as emotional parasites.
However, consider how the ponies wouldn't trust Zecora at first; zebras are a much closer species, and clearly not a predator, and they still gave her a hard time. It was not justified of them to do so, they were simply being paranoid jerks. And perhaps, then, to shun changelings is just as wrong.
It is easy to imagine another way: if a pony allowed a changeling to feed off his love, and in turn received the changeling's protection, that would not be parasitism, but mutualism - a relationship in which both sides benefit.
Now, some might point that it did harm Shining Armor. But wait: it was unclear what caused his poor condition: that, or the effort to keep the massive magical barrier, or Chrysalis' mind control. As far as we know, the feeding itself could be harmless, or at least tolerable.

Agreed. I don't know, but just because they feed of love, that doesn't mean is harmful. Is not like they are blood parasites or anything. And as a emotion, I don't know if love ever "ends" or anything. I wonder what would happen if a pony were to fall in love with a changeling.

Oh my god, that's just so sad!!!! I feel so sorry for her (and sort of makes sense, she feeds from love that the ponies feel for OTHERS because no one feel love for her... I dunno if what I said made sense but...)

I doubt she'd be doing that when she was an insectiod... filly... thing...
The idea was that the neglect she suffered in youth caused her to despise their kind, thus making them a target when she realises her power.
