Description
Scene of Tidus looking at the ruins of Zanarkand, from Final Fantasy X.This work was done for my midterm drawing portfolio (another try in portrait drawing) and was drawn entirely with a mechanical pencil 7.0 HB. Added effects in Photoshop to make it look... shinier. xD
Again, constructive criticism is very welcome.

Another comment on this picture: I have to agree with the people who said the shading around his eyes is a little off. I don't have much experience with portraits like this, but maybe you could just thin the shadow and lighten it a bit?

His lips are a wee bit feminine and could possibly be altered to be a bit more... masculine? I dunno, but also, if the puffs of his hair were to stick out a bit more on the left side of his face, it might look a bit fuller? [[Right now, I cannot give you the best critique, Buuut....] IT"S STILL AWESOME

Actually, I did this a while ago, when I first started doing portrait drawing. I guess it's very true practice makes perfect. Maybe I could work it out if I did again, but old work is good the way it is : P

My most favourite ''Tidus'' - part (and for me the best scene in a videogame so far) is the I hate you scene at the end of the game... I loved that, such drama!
And of course the way he looks at Yuna in FFX2

You have to dab the pencil really slowly and softly. Portraits are all about shadowing, really. ^^

Wow, been quite a while since I last saw Tidus fanart as beautiful as this.
I feel that the shadow work you did in Tidus's eyes makes it seem that his eyes seem a little sunk. As for actual advice I could give you on that, just don't do that wide of a shadow. And I guess that's pretty much it.
